Is this tool private?
Yes. Your images are processed on your device and never sent to our servers. For AI tools, your browser downloads model files from imgpico when needed.
Why does the first run take a while?
The AI model (7 to 13 MB, depending on your device) is loaded once from imgpico and then cached by your browser. Later runs are much faster, especially on devices with WebGPU support.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The model files are served by imgpico itself, and the image is processed entirely on your own device. No third party is involved.
Does it work on products or animals?
The current model is trained on people, so it works best for portraits and full-body shots. Results on objects and animals vary. A more precise model for products is planned.
