Are my images really not uploaded?
Correct. imgpico uses the image processing built into your browser. When you pick a file it stays in your device's memory, and the download you receive is generated locally. AI tools first download their model and runtime files from imgpico; they also process your images locally.
Which file formats are supported?
You can open JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, HEIC and SVG files. HEIC photos from an iPhone are decoded by imgpico itself, because Safari is the only browser that reads them natively. Results can be saved as JPG, PNG or WebP. Animated images are processed as a single still image; animation is not preserved.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no artificial limit. Very large images are limited only by the memory of your device and browser.
Can I edit several images at once?
Yes. Most tools accept multiple files and let you download everything as a single ZIP archive.
