Good to know
Is this tool private?
Yes. Your images are processed on your device and never sent to our servers. For AI tools, your browser downloads model files from imgpico when needed.
Does editing metadata reduce image quality?
No. For JPG and PNG only the metadata block is rewritten; the compressed image data is copied byte for byte. Other formats are converted to PNG first.
Which fields can I edit?
Title (ImageDescription), Author (Artist), Copyright, Comment, Software, Date taken and GPS coordinates. Camera information such as model and exposure is kept unless you turn off the option to keep existing tags.
Why should I add copyright metadata?
Many platforms and search engines read the EXIF copyright and author fields. It helps people find out who created an image and how to contact you.
